Your Holiest Meal?
Besides the celebration of the Eucharist, what is the holiest meal you have ever had?
This Sunday's episode, episode 42, will cover "holy meals," and I want to hear from YOU!
What to know more? Listen to this audioboo:
Making Music Praying Twice... At the Dinner Table!

Theology on Tap
On the menu today... feedback from a very special person, a discussion (inspired by Fr. Oscar Lukefahr, CM) about food and happiness, and interviews from Theology on Tap. Join us here on the Catholic Foodie, where food meets faith!
the Catholic Foodie is a CNMA Nominee!
Some very kind soul (or souls!) nominated the Catholic Foodie for the Catholic New Media Awards.
The Catholic Foodie was nominated for an award in the following categories:
SousChef!
It's been a long time coming. Yes, this is finally the SousChef! review I have been promising you for months.
I am sorry it has taken so long, but there really hasn't been a lack of content for the show, and I really don't want the episodes to be too long... so I have been pushing back this review.
It is a great Mac application! It is so versatile and easy to use. I can't recommend it enough.
Check out the review and let me know what you think.
Have You Seen The Zulu King?
This has been a wonderful Mardi Gras season for us! We hit four parades: Olympia in Covington, Orpheus in Mandeville, then Thoth and Zulu in New Orleans.
Zulu was definitely the highlight. This was the first time that we have made it to Zulu. It rolls at 8AM, so you have to be there early... to find a parking space and to find a good spot on the parade route.
Marhaba, Habibi!
Marhaba, habibi! "Hello, dear" in Arabic.
In episode 9 we recap our experience at the Lebanese convention, including the Maronite liturgy we attended on Sunday. We respond to feedback about Lebanese food and culture, and I share with you my falafel fiasco!
The RITE Stuff
In this episode we talk about the various rites that make up the Roman Catholic Church (& I hope I don't make it too confusing!). I pay particular attention to the Maronite Catholic Church because it comes out of Lebanon and I have had the privilege of participating in a number of Maronite liturgies.
Beer is also on the menu. Abita Abbey Ale.
Plus feedback from Mike Lindner.

We have exciting feedback and more on the menu at The Catholic Foodie!
Special Epiphany Episode
In this special episode, recorded for the Advent/Christmas calendar at CatholicRoundup.com, we will briefly meditate on the Epiphany: Psalm 72 & a reflection by Pope Saint Leo the Great. I also share a bit of South Louisiana tradition surrounding the Twelfth Night of Christmas. Leave voice feedback at 985-635-4974 or email me at catholicfoodie@gmail.com.
