CF91 – You Can’t Substitute Fall!

CF91 – You Can’t Substitute Fall!

Show notes for episode 91:

Welcome, folks, to the Catholic Foodie, where food meets faith. I am your host Jeff Young and today we are going to rejoice in the fact that it is Fall. And way down here in Louisiana we are enjoying rare Fall treat: Cool weather! Alleluia! Sarah Vabulas, the Catholic Drinkie, joins us today to talk about her favorite fall brew. And Sarah Reinhard brings us another special treat… in this month of the rosary, chats with us about the Rosary in the Kitchen.

And I am here today too, with a few creative substitution tips for your next recipe.

All this and more right here at the Catholic Foodie, where food meets faith!

DivineOffice.org

A special thank-you to at divineoffice.org, the sponsors of today’s show. I’ve said it many times before, and I will say it again. I love the Divine Office. I love the Liturgy of the Hours. It is a staple of my prayer life, one that I recommend to anyone who wants to grow in prayer and who wants to steep themselves in the Word of God. Head on over to divineoffice.org, and join us in prayer here at the Catholic Foodie.

Prayer:

LORD Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, Bread of Life come down from heaven, we thank you for this wonderful month of October, in which we celebrate the lives so many of your holy saints. St. Therese, St. Francis, Our Holy Guardian Angels, Our Lady of the Rosary… and so many more. May they pray for us and with us as we join around this table celebrate your love for our family and for all families. Bless us, Lord Jesus, and these gifts that come from your hand. Amen.

Kitchen:

Mary in the Kitchen – It’s October, which means fall has come to the midwest and that the Month of the Rosary is here! Join Sarah Reinhard as she explores the abundance of life and the School of Mary in this week’s Mary in the Kitchen.

A special thanks to L’Angelus for letting us use their Ave Maria in the show!
