I began yesterday’s show by talking about an article in the Times-Picayune about Msgr. Christopher Nalty titled New Orleans priest sees food as the lure that brings people together.

My idea was to cover a few different stories involving food in the news. However, I ended up spending most of the show talking about this one article from Paste Magazine that offered 14 Ways to Curb Food Waste at Home. More than a few of the suggested ways dovetailed nicely with an article I wrote a while back titled 10 Shortcuts for Cooking Dinner in Record Time.
